combat dryness,
frizz and other curly battles.

treated curly hair

buildup without dehydrating the hair. It is scented with Starfruit and
Mango.
Low-Poo is gentle enough to be used daily or all hair types.
4- What is No-Poo? No-Poo is a cleansing conditioner that is also sulfate free. Its gentle
cream is
great for frizzy, unmanagable curls. Cleans ans conditions very dry,
damaged hair
and scalp. Use this no lather formula ro restore healthy, bouncy curls.
It has a great
scent with Peppermint and Turkish Rose.
5- What is a sulfate and why is it bad for my hair? A sulfate is what makes your shampoos and soaps lather. If you look at
the main
ingrediants in most shampoos and soaps, it is most likely water and then
a sulfate:
Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate or Disodium Laureth
Sulfate.
This ingrediant is responsible for the bubbles that you see and is very
drying to
your hair. It cleans because it strips your hair of the natural oils
that curly clients
desperately need. Curly clients are naturally drier than a straight
haired client, therefore
you don't need the bubbles! So when you are washing your clothes, your
dishes, washing
your hands, running your dishwasher or brushing your teeth remember the
same ingrediant
in all these products is what you are washing you precious locks with.
So washing you
with a sulfate is like washing a piece of silk with Dial Soap! NOT GOOD!
None of Deva
cleansers have a sulfate in them. The No-Poo doesn't lather at all.
However the Low-Poo
lathers just a little bit. It uses a Coconut derivitive to lather with, that it is much more
moisturizing
and a lot gentler for your hair.
6- If my cleanser doesn't lather how is my hair getting clean? The lather is not what cleans your hair, It's the movement. So as long
as you
are scrubbing well with the pads of you fingers (not nails!) you will
always be clean!
Plus the added benefits of a good scalp scrub is increased blood flow,
which promotes
hair growth and removes dead skin cells from you scalp gining you
healthy hair.
It also promotes sebum production which will add to the shine of the
hair.
6- Do they carry a conditioner?
Yes. It's called One Condition. It is a super rich creamy condiotioner
with the smell
Lemon Grass. This super rich conditioner keeps curls shiny and
manageable. For
best results use daily.

chock full of
proteins to help rebuild even the most damaged hair. It delivers maximum moisture,
vitality and and brilliance.
8-My hair always seems to have a halo of frizz around it what can I do? Deva carries a wax based hairspray called Set It Free. It's almost like
spray pomade, that
when sprayed in weighs down even the lightest flyaways without weighing
it down or
making it look greasy or dirty. It adds shine and defines curls with a
log lasting hold.
Has a great Lemon-Lime scent
9-After I have slept on my hair it always looks very unkept and I have a hard
time styling it. What
can I do to improve this without rewashing my hair? Deva carries a lavender based spray called MisterRight which os a
rejuvenating and
smells wonderful. Just spray it on untill ypur hair is slightly damp
then flip your head
re-scrunch and your set to go! MisterRight is PH balanced to your skin
so you can also

10- What should I use in my hair after I have cleansed and moisturized? Deva carries two gels-AnGell and ArcAngell. The AnGell is a very light weight water
based gel that leaves a soft light weight hold. The Arc AnGell is a
mid-weight water
based gel for those that like a heavier hold but wothout the crunch.
TIP FROM THE PRO'S: If the AnGell is still to heavy for your hair mix
the AnGell and
the MisterRight 1/2 and 1/2 in the MisterRight bottle shake well and
enjoy an extremely
light weight hold spray gel. All of Deva's products are water based so
thay are really
intermixable.

also has a great smell
